Artist Statement:

I have found the act of making art is something I will always pursue. My current work, evolved from a method I began using about 12 years ago, is an exercise in trust of my abilities. The process involves both staying loose and controlling the frenetic lines that make up each composition. This allows me to highlight energies and depths within simple subjects, and also appreciate the journey of working the sketch into something that appears to move as it sits on the paper. I am influenced by so many artists and movements, many that originate in our diverse local Las Vegas art scene.
